Kerri McDonald - Richmond Rookie of the Week!

Congratulations to former FirstPoint USA Field Hockey Scholarship recipient (and Athlete of the Month!) , who has been named The University of Richmond Rookie of the Week! Check out this article on atlantic10.com : Richmond field hockey standouts, Rebecca Barry and Kerri McDonald, swept the conference honors this week. Barry was named Atlantic 10 Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week, while McDonald earned Rookie of the Week honors, as announced by the league Tuesday for games played Aug. 27- Sept. 2. Freshman midfielder McDonald earned Rookie of the Week honors. The Dromore, Northern Ireland native scored her second career goal, helping her team to victory against Georgetown. Great news Kerri - we knew you would do well in the US...and from the sounds of it she's certainly enjoying herself!
