We’d like to congratulate our soccer-athlete Harry Hauserman, who has just recently committed to Viterbo University, Wisconsin!
Harry has been goalkeeping from the age of 8, starting off his football journey at Hadley Rangers FC, where he stayed for two years before signing with Barnet FC Academy. From here, Harry went on to join Wingate and Finchley FC, where he and his teammates reached the London U16 Cup Final. In addition to this, he also gained a sports scholarship to Aldenham Independent School, for both football and cricket.
Upon signing with us back in May of last year, Harry shared with us a few of his favourite sporting moments: “My favourite sporting memories would be reaching the London Cup Final in 2017, and being offered a trial at Premier League side, Huddersfield Town FC.” He adds, “Another fond memory would be playing against Chicago Fire Academy.”
Harry tells us that he is most looking forward to living in the States for four years and experiencing the college lifestyle. He is no stranger to the States, as he has been visiting from a young age and it’s a place he says he has always loved.
We caught up with Harry to ask him how he was feeling about his recent signing, he shared with us that he can’t wait to get Viterbo to start pre-season! He also adds that he is looking forward to living in La Crosse, as it seems like a great place to study and live.
Finally, we asked Harry where he saw himself in 10 years…to which he replied: “I would still like to be involved in soccer, hopefully playing in the States!”
Best of Luck Harry, we look forward to seeing you smash it out in the States.
