One of the leading lights of Scottish golf, Callum made his mark on the national scene in 2008 when he won the Scottish Amateur Championship at Carnoustie, before helping Scotland to a famous first ever victory at the World Amateur Team Championships in Australia, seeing off the challenge of US side which featured Rickie Fowler. He spent four years at the University of Mississippi, represented ‘Ole Miss’ with distinction, then switched to golf’s paid ranks by securing his European Tour card, coming through all three stages of Tour School. In his rookie season, he finished runner-up at the Madeira Islands Open in what was just his fourth event, producing a sensational back nine of 29 on the final day.
